Servant Leader Church decided that we would really support the people who have answered the call to missions. For us it's not about numbers it is about reaching souls so we focus all our support towards Mary Lyons. She has the heart of a servant and the mind of a leader. Mary Lyons
Campus Missionary and Pioneer
Mary Lyons is from Columbus, Georgia where she first fell in love with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at Columbus State University as a student. Upon graduating, she completed the Campus Missions in Training program in May 2015 at her Alma Mater and remained on staff at Columbus State University for two more years. Afterwards, she was asked to serve as the Interim Director at Georgia Southern University until a more permanent replacement could be found.
She is now currently transitioning out of her role as the Interim Director to pioneer and plant a Chi Alpha at Spelman, Morehouse, and Clark Atlanta (which are all Historically Black Colleges for men and female located in the heart of Atlanta). Over the years, she's developed a deep passion for discipling students and watching God transform them into Christ followers before her very eyes.
Other things she’s passionate about includes evangelism, preaching the Gospel, using the arts to Glorify God, and teaching students how to date God’s way. When she’s not doing those things, you can find her playing sports, beating some college kids at a game of taboo, painting, reading a good book, or somewhere dancing to Christian rap.
